Howard: Well hello, good morning to you. My name is Howard. Howard Berkley. I'm new here to Fortune Shores, as I'm sure you guessed. After a lifetime of working hard, I've finally saved up enough money to retire. Since I have no wife and no children it was easy to pick up and move to a new town. Now I know you're thinking I'm an old man. Why don't I have a family? Well, I've spent my whole life in search of knowledge. And that doesn't leave very much time to get married and have a child. But, before we get into my life, let me tell you a little about myself.

I moved here to Fortune Shores to retire. I bought a nice piece of land and had a beautiful home built on it. The outside looks great, but I'm still working on the inside. I like to call it "The Berkley Estate".


My entire existence has been to learn as much as I can. And to become a Criminal Mastermind, but I was quickly told that I am too old for such a dream. So, I have been spending all of my spare time in learning everything there is to know in life. I also have a part time at a nursing home, but learning is my number one priority.


Then one day a revelation hit me. When I pass away, there will be nothing left to carry on my legacy. I have no wife. No children. No friends or family. And the weight of this thought was suffocating. What good is all the knowledge of life if you have noone to pass it on to? For the first time in my life, I wanted to get married and have a family. A little late I know, but not too late perhaps. So, I called the town matchmaker and she assisted me in finding a suitable bride. The lucky woman was Demi Love. A beautiful blond who liked to dress as a policeman even though she was unemployed.


It didn't take long for the sparks to fly. I never thought I'd ever love someone. And now here I am head over heels in love with Demi. The only problem we have had is with a friend of hers. His name is Richard Linwood and he actually lives right next door to me. It seems he is attracted to Demi, and he won't leave her alone. So I make sure to let him see that Demi is my woman and she wants nothing to do with him.


After a few dates, I knew it was time to take the plunge. I invited Demi over one day and of course Richard Linwood followed her. But that didn't matter. Nothing would spoil our afternoon, or our lives for that matter. I finally got up the nerve to ask Demi to be my wife. Richard was standing right there when Demi screamed happily and threw herself into my arms. I think he finally got the picture.


And here is a picture of my beautiful wife. She has long blond hair and the most stunning brown eyes I've ever seen.

So I finally had a wife. I really thought that I would never enjoy living with another person and spending every waking moment with that person. But I have found that I was majorly wrong about that. Demi and I have many things in common; mainly our thirst for knowledge. She is far more knowledgeable than I am, which is amazing considering how young she is. But we enjoy studying together. And of course, Demi insists that we stay in our underwear. She says it turns her on!


And finally I was ready to take the ultimate step in life. And I don't mean to woohoo. I may be old, but I'm not a prude! No, I mean we were ready to have a baby. Demi was excited about the idea and so was I.


And then before we knew it, Demi was indeed pregnant! She had a rough pregnancy, with all the throwing up and tired all the time. And if she wasn't in the bathroom or sleeping, she was eating. Everything in sight! But I tried my best to soothe her, and be there for her when she needed me.


The big day finally arrived and Demi went into labor. It was a quick labor, and before we knew it, our little baby girl was born! She is the most beautiful baby in the entire world. I never thought I could love something so much. But when I saw her, my heart just melted. She has my black hair (although you wouldn't know it b/c of all my grey) and her mother's brown eyes. And best of all, she has a mixture of our skin tones. She's right in the middle between my dark and Demi's light skin. We decided to name her Tessa.


I still can't believe it. I am a father! I have a wife and a daughter. Wow, I never thought I would be so blessed. Actually, I never wanted to be so blessed, but now that I am...I wouldn't trade it for all the knowledge in the world. I am so happy that I can't stop showing my affection. Demi loves it when I sing to her and Tessa.


And the happiness didn't stop there. Shortly after Tessa's birth, Demi told me that she was pregnant again! I think I danced around for hours on end! Maybe this time I'll have a son! Of course, if it's a girl I'll be just as happy.


Meanwhile, Tessa had her first birthday! She's growing up so fast. It seems like just yesterday she was nothing but a bump on Demi's stomach. Demi and I threw her a little birthday party. Demi even baked her a cake and I helped her blow out her candles.


And here she is, my little princess. Isn't she adorable? I just know she is destined for greatness. Especially if I have anything to say about it.

Now, my studying is on the back burner. I want nothing more than to pass on what little knowledge I do have to my little girl. Right now we're working on walking, talking and potty training. But it won't be long until we're working on cooking and mechanics! I'm loving every second I have with Tessa and Demi. And I can't wait until this new baby is born!
